We’re a fun loving, welfare conscious greyhound racing club, taking great care, pride and interest in our dogs whether we win or lose. Most of our members are based within South Wales, but we welcome membership enquiries from anyone (regardless of location) providing you are over 18 and share with us a passion for the sport.

The House of Razor Racing Club was formed in April 2009 with the purchase of Hell Razor (aka Raz or Razy), which was soon followed by that of Mutter To Razor (aka Mutts). We celebrated a successful first year in great style by purchasing a third dog, namely Darth Razor (formerly known as Sullane Donie) who went on to win a Maiden Open at Hove on his very first run for us. In recent times, we’ve purchased Smoothoppa Razor (she of many nicknames!), Razor Titanic (aka Joe) and the exciting Hiphip Who Razor. We’re always interested in purchasing new and exciting young greyhounds who have the potential of enhancing our reputation and success on the track and a number of members hold separate or combined interests in many other greyhounds.

Our dogs can regularly be viewed at tracks across the UK, within most Bookmakers and occasionally on Racing Post Greyhounds TV. We enjoy watching our dogs compete at both Graded and Open level, often against some very talented greyhounds, whilst we’re also known to travel the length and breadth of the UK in our support of associated dogs and those in training with Kevin Hutton. Further information on Kevin can be viewed within the section “Our Trainers”.

As a racing club we organise trips to various greyhound meetings from time to time, but individually we are regular visitors at greyhound tracks, especially at Swindon. For just £40 per month (no joining fee or minimum contract) you can purchase an interest in all of our dogs and further information can be located in the section “Join Us!”. We’re a ‘not for profit’ racing club and all profits generated through prize money and membership fees etc, go directly into caring for our current greyhounds, the purchasing of new dogs and the re-homing of greyhounds.

We enjoy nothing more than affording our dogs all the time and comforts they require to develop and reach their maximum potential. Furthermore, we ensure that firm retirement and re-homing plans are drawn up for all our dogs, regardless of ability. Greyhound welfare is of paramount importance to us. Our members have helped with the rehoming of a number of greyhounds over the years. If you’re interested in re-homing a greyhound or wish to know more about it, then feel free to contact us and we’ll do our best to help you directly or, at the very least, point you in the right direction.
